Boat tour to Mount Athos from Ormos Panagias
Joining a boat tour to Mount Athos, the spiritual capital of the Orthodox Christian world, is once in a lifetime experience! This UNESCO heritage site is a unique place in the world that holds spiritual glory and great history and the best way to discover it, is by cruising around it.
The boat tours depart from Ormos Panagias (Sithonia) up to twice a day and it's a almost a 6-hour tour. First, you will sail on the shores of Sithonia until you reach your first destination, the Monastery of St. Paul and from there, continue coastal so you can admire eight of the twenty Holy Monasteries of Mt. Athos, situated in the west coast of the peninsula of Athos.
