Halkidiki peninsula is located near the city of Thessaloniki and it is a part of Central Macedonia, Greece. Halkidiki region consists of the mainland and a large peninsula that resembles a hand with three “fingers” – Kassandra, Sithonia and Mount Athos Area (East Coast).
