When it comes to mussels, Olympiada is the place to be!

One of Halkidiki’s most well-knowed products since pre-Ottoman times that you can find is the amazing Olympiada mussels – rich in protein and omega-3, low in fat and three times richer in iron than calf liver that  stand out for their size and immense flavor.

And every year, the local people are celebrating this precious and delicious product by organising a Mussels’ feast on July 7th at Agia Kiriaki church.

Be there and taste the local mussels, either steamed or deep fried!
