Sarti village
Sarti is a place of incomparable beauty that attracts thousands of visitors each year.
It includes all things needed for an ideal holiday: wonderful beaches, nightlife, historical monuments and welcoming people. It is about a vast area of 3 km long which offers to its guests all the possible amenities for a comfortable and pleasant stay.
It is organized at certain areas with restaurants and beach bars but also features isolated places where you can enjoy the sun and the beach away from many visitors. It attracts a significant number of visitors and especially families since it offers ample space for the children to play in shallow water.
Worth it to see:
- The “parade of monuments” (sculptures and paintings) of the folklore artist Zaphiris located in a local cafe.
- The "metochi" of the monastery of Xiropotamou, a small church built in 1867, founded on the west side of the village.
- Join a full day boat cruise around Mount Athos or a swimming and sunset tour along the coastline.
Don’t miss it!
Spend at least one day in kavourotrypes beach which is a stunning rocky shore with shallow, turquoise water. This is one of most beautiful and photogenic beaches in Halkidiki.
