Agios Pavlos is the wine country of Central Halkidiki.
The grape varieties that are cultivated in this area is “Roditis” and “Sauvignon Blanc”, white wine and “Xinomavro”, “Merlot” and “Cabernet Sauvignon”, mild red one; though it is said that both have great quality and special fruit flavor.
Worth it to see:
- The “TSANTALIS” winery which produces some of the most famous Greek varieties of wine, since 1890. Organized tours take place in the winery, make it possible for visitors to go on wine tasting.
