Kassandria, also known as Valta, is the administrative centre of the municipal area of Kassandra which provides all the necessary services all around the peninsula.

Kalandra is simply a traditional village, dated back to 14th century; history says that it was related to the Hilandariou Monastery of Mt. Athos.

Paliouri is the southern village of Kassandra and one of the most traditional ones with narrow scenic alleys, old traditional houses sand thick pine forest.
