All in all, Chrousso beach is an excellent sandy beach with a really long stretch of shallow water, which makes it an ideal choice for families with small kids. Unlike many sandy beaches in Halkidiki and Kassandra where there's sand on the beach but grit and pebbles in the water, here it is sand all the way - excellent for kids to play in the water! Plenty of parking space along the beach, with each of several beach bars providing lounge chairs and umbrellas. There are also family areas where you can put up your own umbrella.
