The “Mikri Skini” Heads to the Sea: A New Summer Festival in Porto Valitsa, Halkidiki

This summer, culture packs its bags and moves seaside! From July 4th to August 30th, the beloved Thessaloniki-based artistic hub Mikri Skini (The Small Stage) launches a brand-new music and theatre festival at the enchanting Porto Valitsa in Paliouri, Halkidiki.

For two whole months, music, theatre, and poetry take center stage under the stars, just a breath away from the sea. With a view that steals your heart and a program that feeds the soul, the Mikri Skini transforms the amphitheatre of Porto Valitsa into a live canvas of creativity and emotion.

From iconic artists like Alkinoos Ioannidis, Foivos Delivorias, and Nikos Xydakis, to new voices like Nefeli Fasouli and EZ and the Dizzy Bows, the festival’s lineup blends nostalgia with discovery. Expect moving tributes (hello Mikis Theodorakis night), theatrical surprises (yes, mime theatre under the pines), and intimate concerts that feel like private serenades.
