The Municipality of Polygyros in Halkidiki, organizes the 16th Polygyros Summer Festival 2024 with music concerts, performances, and events. The visitors of Halkidiki will have the opportunity to enjoy famous Greek singers, taste the local products and participate in athletic events. The program includes:
THURSDAY 18 JULY: Live concert of the Greek singer Maria Vlahou, Venue: Courtyard at the Townhall of Polygyros at 21:00. Entrance: FREE
SATURDAY 20 JULY: Live concert of the Greek band NOVELTY ACTS | Venue: Psakoudia beach at 21:00. Entrance: FREE
THURSDAY 25- SUNDAY 28 JULY: Local feast at with local products | Venue: Kalyves village, at 19:00-23:00. Entrance free.
WEDNESDAY 31 July: Live concert with traditional songs by Pavlos Pavloudis & his band | Venue: main square of Townhall in Polygyros at 21:00 | Entrance FREE
THURSDAY 8-SUNDAY 11 August: group art exhibition “Nature Art”. For the 10th year, the Association of Fine Art of Halkidiki is organizing a group art exhibition under the title: “NATURE ART” Gerakinis’ cellars. More than 40 artists are participating in the exhibition and they will present their works based on the thematic “Nature & Environment”. Venue: Warehouse of Mine at the beach of Gerakini. Operating hours: 19:00 – 23:00. Entrance FREE.
SATURDAY 9 AUGUST: Live concert of the Greek band GRAMMOFONO, Venue: Gerakini Village, at 21:00. Entrance free.
MONDAY 19 AUGUST: Full moon concert by the orchestra “Montaz”. Venue: Archaeological site of Olynthos, at 21:00. Entrance free.
SATURDAY 21 AUGUST: Live concert of the Greek composer Dimitris Kehagias | Venue: Park of Ormylia village at 21:00. Entrance FREE.
FRIDAY 23 – SUNDAY 25 AUGUST: Exhibition of local products and live music events. Venue: Central Park at Polygyros. Entrance FREE.
SATURDAY 30 August: Live concert of the Greek singer George Gelarakis | Venue Park of Metamorfosi village at 21.00. Entrance FREE.
SUNDAY 1 SEPTEMBER: 8th Run Polygyros Halkidiki. organized by The Halkidiki Health Runners Club in collaboration with other local clubs of Municipality of Polygyros, The event includes three (3) Races: Health Route 5 km, Start time 10.00 am, Mountain – City RUN 14,6 km, Start time 10.15 am, Kids Race 1000m, Start Time 12.30 pm. The Start and Finish of the 3 Races will take place at Heroes Square in Polygyros. More info: http://www.polygyrosrun.gr/
FRIDAY 6-SUNDAY 8 SEPTEMBER: Mushroom feast at Taxiarchis village | Venue: main square of Taxiarchis. Entrance FREE.
SATURDAY 14 SEPTEMBER: Live concert by the Greek band “ΣΕΡΣΕ LA BAND” | Venue Galatista village at 21:00. Entrance FREE
