On Sunday, May 7, 2023 at 11:00am, we are organizing a charity run for the second year at Galatista. The purpose of this race, like the first one, is to support the Association of People with Disabilities of Halkidiki Prefecture “I AGAPI”. Through this organization we try in every way to show our solidarity and support, both materially and morally, to this Association that for 31 years has been caring for and supporting people with special needs and their families throughout the region of Halkidiki. The income of the Association is exclusively from the subscriptions of its members and the donations of its friends.

All incomes from the race will be donated to the charity.

It is a 5 km road race for adults and one 1.4 km route for our little friends. The cost of participation is 5 euros for children and adults, while each participant will receive a t-shirt. The route starts at the beginning of the old road, it will make a U-turn at the Sarabali fountain and return to the starting point again, where the awarding ceremony will take place. The children will follow a shorter route, to the small church of Agios Georgios. If you want to run on a green course for this very special cause, all you have to do is register for the event!
