The Ephorate of Antiquities of Halkidiki and Mount Athos, in collaboration with the Painting Department of the Cultural Society of Educators “Plefsi” and the Municipality of Nea Propontida, proudly presents the art exhibition:

A Unique Fusion of Archaeology & Contemporary Art
This exhibition is part of the “Antiquities & Modern Art” initiative, a creative project that bridges Greece’s rich archaeological heritage with contemporary artistic expression.
Local and regional artists will showcase paintings, sketches, and mixed-media works, transforming the historical and cultural legacy of Kalamaria into vibrant visual art. Visitors will experience a captivating dialogue between past and present, where ancient ruins, Byzantine influences, and local traditions are reimagined through a modern lens.
