Apricot feast at Portaria

Joining one of the local feasts in Halkidiki is a great way to engage with locals and be part of the community! In Portaria village, every year, on the occasion of the completion of the harvest of apricots, the local farmers celebrate with a feast dedicated to its famous fruits that are being exported all over the world!

So this year, on Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 July, at 21.00, the Women ‘s Association of Portaria in Halkidiki organizes the annual “apricot feast” at the Grove of Agios Athanasios,  promoting a product that characterizes the village, since hundreds of acres of apricots are grown in area.

There will be live music, traditional dancing and treats for everyone!
